[Indecision \'08] I\'m voting for Colbert!
Stephen T Colbert (the "T" standing for "Tyrone") is running for president, as, announced on Oct. 16th. He is first looking to win the South Carolina primary...I know this sounds ludicrous, but why should he be considered less of a candidate than everyone else?

I thought he was only going to run in south carolina then nothing else. Did he change his mind? Is he going for the big win?

i've only seen him on daily show and colbert report... what actual experience does he have? sure he can make satirical comments about the government and policies... but do you honestly think he would make a good president?
i really enjoy his show, but idk...

It's just a huge mock of our political system. He said he was going to run as a democrat and republican until he found out how much it cost to register. Just a big PR stunt.
I love his show, his recent Op-Ed column in the New York Times was one of the funniest things I've ever read, but he shouldn't be interfering with the big boys :-/ And Ron Paul as President scares me to death.

Considering the lack of viable candidates, Colbert has as good of a chance as any of them. We Americans are in trouble with any of the candidates on either side of the aisle that are currently running.
