Default kyphosis

somehow I felt that a standing posture with a slight curvature at the upper back is "cool" and "stylish" and been deliberately putting up that kind of posture while walking or simply standing. but then someone today mentioned this word kyphosis and it scared me a lil bit.

is it bad? does getting a habit of that kind of posture pose any problems to my back?

Hehe, I doubt it's that serious that it can be called kyphosis. Just up to last week I had a similar problem. My friends kept telling me, your posture seems messed up, like you're arching forward. THey kept telling me to stay straight, but for some reason I couldn't stay liek that for a long time. Problem was, I had been doing too many pushups for 1 month straight, without any back exercises (no access to gym) and unfortunately I never stretched after each exercise, so eventually my chest got really tight, and started to pull my shoulders forward. Only now, after 3 days of painful/forced reps of pullups, and pulldowns was I able to fix my back. I even felt pain in my front ribcage.
In conclusion: dont walk like that, I kinda thought it was cool, but it revolts people, and girls don't like it.
