My clients are eating and training by one philosophy ONLY:
What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. HAHAHAHAHA!

amen to that!!!

Today for the first time in like a month I was finally able to get my own personal research done instead of being in lab all day. Got a lot of stuff done...finished up Part I of a concurrent training series we are going to publish here on ABC...it's going to be awesome. Should be published this week!

If you ate a lot of pizza and got to like 118.97 % BF, had a coronary and survived then the pizza made you stronger. Simple logic

My clients probably hate me because of antagonist pairings on their leg days, especially when I'm around and count every second of their rest intervals.

****y guys usually get walking lunges 8-10 reps / leg 60 seconds rest and then bulgarian split squats 10-12 reps / legs, if they are really ****y, they do it elevated. Hey Vlad, that is not an antagonist pairing you say. No it is not. It is "****y-guys" killer

They are not so ****y for the rest of the workout and I can do my job without their "muscle and fitness" quotes of pro bodybuilders. They just have enough time to gasp some air and mentally locate the nearest corner to puke

Decided not to do 4th horse...just does not fit my goals well. It is a hard-core bulk program.

Yesterday morning

Thighs hypertrophy occlusion training <1 min rest between sets

315 back squats 3 *10; 285 2*10 - first time did back squats in a month. Hips felt good (were injuried). Tried a different form - focused on hip flexion, greater trunk flexion; less knee flexion. Works glutes more, seemed to take pressure of hip.
5 sets leg extensions w/ lying hamstring curls
4 sets occluded donkey calve raises
4 sets seated dumbbell curls w/ french dumbbell press- all occluded

PM - Dead lifts occlusion training <1 MIN Rest

315 5*10
4 sets occluded reverse tibialis raises on hamstring curl machine
3 sets occluded double bi cable curls w/ behind back cable dips
4 sets decline situps w/ hyperextensions w/ barbell twists

This morning - back/chest hyper

4 sets incline dumbbbell (100s) w/ unilateral pull-down machine 4 plates aside 2 sets, 3 plates for 2 sets
4 sets pec dec flys w/ pull down rows to chest
4 sets death barbell rows (155) w/ dips
3 Sets occluded wrist curls w/ reverse wrist

20 mins low intensity cardio

standing barbell press is one of the most UNDER utilized effective movements out there in m opinion...it's so demanding...i really enjoy it as well...i think you'll find that you'll get very good gains from it

It really hit my delts hard!

Saturday morning: arms, calves heavy; occluded thighs

Barbell curls (115), donkey calve raises, supine grip tricep pressdowns (machine maxed) - I staggard sets on these days. I always take a lot of rest on heavy days (i.e. 5 mins bewtween sets). So instead of standing around I do another exercise while one body part recovers. So I'll do curls, rest a minute, do calves, rest a minute, do triceps, rest 2 minutes, repeat. Much more effecient use of time.
4 sets occluded leg press incline 3 plates aside
3 sets seated calve raises (4 plates) w/ seated dip machine w/ double negatives on preacher curls
4 sets occluded hack squat - this is fantastic. I have not done any hack squats forever because it destoys my knees. But I only had to use 2 plates on this, so I figure with occlusion I can get the muscle benefits w/o hurting my joints...hopefully. It certainly felt good.
3 sets standing reverse tibialis raises, behind back barbell curls (185), reverse barbell wrist curls, and farmers walk

90 mins

GREAT workout. Could not ask for more.

These are going really good right now. I have made some mods to my diet and training split. Got much leaner this past week and have a lot of energy.

One thing I did which is awesome, I got this one apparatus so I can do pull-ups on my door. I am sure you guys have seen that. So during the tournament yesterday, the whole time I did pull-ups and push-ups! I put a back-pack on me, fitting as many books as I could. It was awesome!

Will start updating this more often...
