Default The perfect pushup?

Anyone know anything about this, It is a bit pricey, but I was thinking about getting it if there is validity to the claims of being better for pushups. I Imagine I would still do regular pushups and use this also. What do you all think of this thing

Looks cool, especially for someone who's had a bad history with their shoulders, like me.

Would be nice to superset with

Fitness and comfort.... two words not meant to go together in advertising! Anyways seeing as you will keep doing regular pushups I'd get it. I can't say it is better for pushups but change usually creates a response from the body in a good way. Versatility is always great for workouts!

If you have the money and want to do this for a bit of variation then its great. If your considering buying this because you believe this is the only way to hit certain parts of the chest then dumbell bench press with palms facing u at the bottom of the motion, pressing up and rotating dumbells so palms are facing away at the top of the motion will achive the same results.

Yea dude, why would you want to minimize stress? Do the old fashion pushups and go buy some whey with that extra 40 bucks. Looks like a waste of precious money IMO. Just my opinion. I would see if they have a free trial cause I wouldnt pay that much for that piece of equipment.

I find it hard to believe that the guy in that commercial built his physique solely using the perfect pushup. Waste of money IMO.

The main problem seems to be:

"Gee, we have all these people wanting to get fit for summer. If they are all doing pushups and sit ups. Well we cant make any money from them. I know what we'll do! We can make some cheap (!@#$%^&*) piece of crap that people dont need. Stick some built guy on the front cover and BAM! $40 x 100 000"

Profit yeah!

The Perfect Pushup is one of those amazing products. The design and versatility of the product will truly make its mark on the “functional training” aspects of today’s culture of fitness and athletics.

WHAT versatility? What else can you do with it? Does it have suction caps, so you can climb up walls?

Grrrr that term functional training gets me pissed every time.

haha this is kinda an old post but w/e lol
So i bought the perfect pushups and I gotta admit they are pretty dang hard. I bought mine for 20 at walmart and it was a good lil deal. Its just good for a dayly excersise for a little growth in the chest. Definately couldnt replace a full chest workout. And anybody who thinks this thing will give the body of the dude on the box is just an idiot lol But i like em though. Just figured Id let yall know the scoop on these things =]]
