12/18/2007: workout A
squats: 3x5 @ 225 bench press: 3x5 @ 175 deadlifts: 1x5 @ 265 dips: 2x8 @ bw + 25 i did it!! 225 squats are under my belt now! that was a good feeling. i actually had a stumble on the 3rd rep of my last set, i started to go up on my toes but i brought that under control and finished out my last 2 reps with good form (ATG). all 3 lifts yesterday were personal bests - i'm finally benching over my bodyweight which is great for me, and the 265 deadlifts felt pretty good, although my grip was giving out a little. |

12/20/2007: workout B
squats: 3x5 @ 230 military press: 1x5 @ 125, 1x5, 1x3 @ 115 pendlay rows: 3x5 @ 150 chins: 2x8 @ bw + 5 squats were tough, military press was very, very hard. rows felt great and chinups weren't too bad. i was feeling a little rundown, i had just been fighting off getting sick and my energy levels were low. so it felt good just to get through |

12/24/2007: workout A
squats: 3x5 @ 235 bench press: 1x5, 1x4, 1x3 @ 180 deadlifts: 1x5 @ 275 this was painful - the gym was closing early for christmas eve so i had to rush through all of my sets. bench press was tough, i wasn't sure i could finish all of my sets and since i didn't have a spotter i just stopped after 4 and 3 reps. better safe than sorry |
