Long day, really tired.

Ok workout, I still think I'm doing too much for a deload, new 5RM though, deadlift 245, it was somewhat easy, jumping 5lbs at a time.

Program is shaping up nicely, getting some neat ideas, post about it later.

I think I have lordosis: http://www.exrx.net/ExInfo/Posture.html

Awesome workout, I've finally found out the right balance, not too tough, not too light:

ATG squats & front squats: 95lbs, I've decided to start with REALLY low weights and go up around 10lbs each workout, squats will be ATG this time in order to get my adductors and flexors up to par again, I tried squatting with heavier weight but it hurt, I'll stop going ATG when I hit higher weights because my back rounds when I hit the bottom.

Standing press, speed sets: 65x8x3, people were looking at me funny doing this, but it felt amazing.

lateral raises: 20x8, 25x6, 30x4

Machine rows

Face Pulls

Pullups: 10 8 6 darn

Low abs, some dragon flags, some vacuums, some rotations and stretching.

Terrible workout, was aching the entire time, good thing I was just fooling around, only after resting or deloading do you notice how badly you needed it.

Tried some powercleans and that was simply horrible, good thing I was working with light weights, the technique is very tricky.

Well, I "officially" get back full intensity on Monday, let's see how it goes.

Day one as an "officially" intermediate trainee!

Monday is "PR day", but still I didn't plan the whole thing through, today was kinda like my old workouts.

Squats: 115x5x5, ATG, felt good, leg is getting better.

Press: 140x3, 150x1, new PR's, this is my first time doing standing presses, quiet a difference.

Rows: 125x3x8, various grips, I must say, having your torso parallel to the ground and resting the weight after each rep makes a WORLD of difference, not only is the movement MUCH stricter, I'm getting a much better range of motion, I don't know how I ever did without these!

Pullups: 10-8-6, don't know why these regressed all of a sudden.

Then I did some calf work, lower abs and stretches.

GREAT WORKOUT!

Wednesday, set-up.

Deadlifts: 250x3x5, I did the first 2 sets slowly and they were REALLY tough, I blasted through the last set and it was a breeze

Bench Press: 195x5x5, I was really surprised with my progress on those, I didn't even need a spotter they were so comfortable

Glute-ham raises: 3x3, since we don't have a GHR "machine" at our gym, I just did those on one of those low incline bench things with leg supports, REALLY tough, people were looking at me funny too!

Chinups: 12-10-6, first one was so easy, went downhill after that.

Then I did some stretching.

I feel great , I feel so lucky to have found out about this approach to training.

Today's workout was a mixed bag, but good overall!

Friday is "light day", but I enjoyed what I did so much, it will be more like functional training day, of course, that's just a meaningless word, it's not necessarily "functional"

Overhead squats: Terrible balance!
5-directional lunges: Wow! I never realize how bad my side lunges were, now I have something to work on!

Press, speed sets
Upright rows

Rows, speed sets
One handed cable pulls: I really enjoyed this one

Pullups: 6-6-4, WTF!

Then I did some rotator cuff stuff and some ab work.
If only I tweaked today's exercise a bit more, it would have been superly awesome, regardless, I'm happy with my new discoveries of the day.

Would've been a great workout if this dude just attempted to stop talking for ONE FRICKIN SECOND!
Well, it was my first time meeting him so stuff like this happens, I'll be sure it doesn't happen next time.

Monday, PR day!

Deadlift: 280x5, terrible technique, super hard, I was disappointed

Bench Press: 205x5, HORRAY! I was attempting a 3RM and ended up doing 5.

Glute-ham raises: Man this is tough stuff!

Chinups:: 10-6-4, the last two sets were done with a 15lbs DB held by my feet.

I then did some pressdowns, seated calf raises, some ab work and stretches.

All in all, today could have been SO much better, I hate talkers, not very happy with my DL, very happy with my BP.

Hmm, not too happy about this, but I must!

Front delt on my right arm hurts a bit, I lost control on my second rep on the bench press yesterday.

Anyhoo, I'm pressing every workout, that can't be good!

I enjoyed my split, but I had to switch things around a bit.

It's pretty much vertically splitting my body, push and pull.

Great workout today, it was more of a "makeup" workout since you always lose a day when switching around bodyparts in a routine:

squats: Did some sets up to 165 ATG, leg feels great, but still not 100%, also did a set with 225 with safety bars at hip level, no pain there either.

lunges: Did them with a 25lb plate, front lunges were easy of course, back lunges were tricky technique wise, side lunges were a real pain, lunges are REALLY tough, tougher than squats IMO, I can't believe I went so long without doing them.

Also did 3 sets of triceps and some calf work, then some major stretching.
