Default Badblood\'s training journal.

I've decided to make yet another journal ^_^

I won't get into all the unnecessary stuff about my past experiences. But you can check my other log to get an idea. Unfortunately, that series of events kept occurring.

Too lazy to post anything else up, hope you guys will ask enough questions and offer input to make this topic interesting.

I'll hopefully post again tomorrow after my workout.

Here are my goals! I know some sound WAY off, but that's because my some of the goals were set MUCH earlier than others.

UPDATE: August 21

Weight: 166
Press: 155
DeadLift: 335
Bench: 245
Squats: N/A
PowerClean: N/A


mid-October goal / end of year goal
Press: 165 / 165
DeadLift: 400 / 440
Bench: 265 / 275
Squat: 300 / 365
PowerClean: 145 / 200

Awesome workout today!

I'm 5'7", 166lbs, doing some linear strength training.

Deadlifts: 220x3x5, surprisingly easy.

Bench Press: 200x3x3, moderate difficulty, made my day.

Chinups: 12-8-6, I'm so bad at those.

Romanian DL's: 155x3x6

Pressdowns: 4 sets
Just some quick arm work for looks.
DB Curls: 3 sets.

Rope Crunches + obiliques: I almost maxed the pully machine, I want big, freaky disgusting abs.

Leg Press Calves: These went pretty well.

My eating has been terrible since my workout, I'm starving myself then eating junk food [img]/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Well, at least I'm back home, only got 3 hours of sleep last night, I'll hopefully get back on track before the next workout on Monday.

One of the most boring workouts I ever had...

Couldn't squat because I squatted on an iffy adductor last week and ended up hurting myself, so I just did some leg extensions instead.

Press: 130x4x5, somewhat easy because I took long rests waiting for a spotter each time.

Pullups: 10-9-5, new personal best, but I'm not happy with my progress on these.

Rows: 115x4x8, moderate difficulty.

Then I did some calves and lower abs.

All in all, it was a pretty easy-going workout that I didn't enjoy, BUT just as well! I'm gonna need my energy for Wednesday's workout, gonna do singles on my deadlifts and see how high I can go.

Impressive work on those presses. Do you know how you strained your adductor?

Good luck on dead singles. I'm too scared to even try those.

I think I somewhat strained it running and it felt iffy on my warmups on my last squat workout.

I failed on the last rep of my last set, the drop really hurt my adductor, good thing I had the safety bars of the power cage.

Adductor isn't any better, I think I kinda aggravated in one of my deads.

Not only that, but I felt the usual every-two-weeks neck pain sneaking in, it still kinda hurts, but good things I stopped all upper body workouts then and there.

Some good stuff though, new PR's!

Deadlift: Singles up to 335, horray!
Bench Press: 195x4x5, PR!

Then I did some chinups and light lower body work.

Pretty bummed that my leg isn't getting any better and my physical therapist is out of the country for one or two weeks, still no squats [img]/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

I didn't have enough "oomph" in me to do my regular 4x5 presses, so I just did some volume work for my shoulders.

DB Press: 50x8, 40x6, 35x10

Front Raises: 5x10, 10x10, 15x8, 20x6

Side-L Raises: 20x8,25x8,30x4

Pullups: 10-10-10, HORRAY!

Rows: 125x4x6-8, varied grips.

Face Pulls.

Ab work.

Then I did some stretches.
