Default Post workout nutrition

I am getting ready to start cutting on Monday and was wondering if my post workout meal is sufficient. I just got done reading the window of opportunity on here. I currently weigh in at 203 lbs and. According to that article, I should take in about 50 grams of protein, 50 grams of carbs,550mg sodium, and 1250 mL of water since I'm cutting. My carbs come from my waixy maize starch which I got on trueprotein.com.Its a drink with Dextrose and Maltodextrin in it to help restore my glycogen stores.I don't want to mess this meal up since its the most important.

That sounds solid.

You could probably lower the protein to 40 grams and add some BCAAs to it if you like. I like some free form aminos in my PW shake.

Also, HMB, and glutamine will help big time.

my serving size of waxy maize is only 38 grams carb. Is that okay or take another scoop.I already take glutamine, green tea extract, zma. So is the BCAAs a necessity even though I already take glutamine.

I'd adhere to the 50 gram protocol for now.

The BCAAs are not glutamine, these are the three essential amino acids primarily responsible for protein synthesis. Though if you stick with the 50 grams of protein, you should be ok.

I was just trying to get my diet in order also and was wondering if barley was as good as quinoa. Also could you give me a range of numbers that my carbs should be at on low, medium and high days.My maintenance is at 3000 calories. So I don't know at what levels for carbs and protein. I read the 13wk hardcore diet plan but it didn't list how many carbs.
