All of the rocks stacked haphazardly above the huge platform were added later by various peoples. The monolithic construction is generally credited to the Romans, but there is lots of speculation that it was formed earlier by others. Nobody has described how it could be done. It can barely be accomplished using today's technology.
It was the Temple of Jupiter, located in modern Baalbeck, Lebanon, controlled by Hizbollah. Some say that it was a launchpad for aliens, though the pillars probably would have gotten in the way. Some say that it was accomplished by a lost race or people. Some say that it was built by Elijah. Either way, 800 tons is pretty heavy.

How old are those structures?
