Default ZMA before bed yes or no?

I have seen conflicting reports..its before bed right?

I would go with before bed. Most here would advocate taking your ZMA about 30-40 minutes before your last meal of the day (which is often containing a casein based protein).

Some say that it makes them drowsy to help them sleep, even though I have not experienced that.

I have switched over to higher dosages. I don't think the dosages in a traditional ZMA are high enough in magnesium or b6 to be optimal... zinc either, but you have to be careful with zinc "overdose" over time.

I definitely notice a sedation with 300-400 mg magnesium on an empty stomach, and b6 assists in seratonin manufacture (gives you the crazy dreams).

Too much Magnesium upsets my stomach. Careful not to take ZMA with other supplements containing magnesium.
