![]() Ok...well this isn't me at 224. That's just me as a chubby child...and NO THAT IS NOT FOOD IN MY HANDS! Despite the guilty look on my face... ![]() There's the money shot! 224, baby! w00t! I was a freshman in highschool there...so I'm pretty sure I was 16. At that point, I decided to lift weights and be more active (even though I was constantly playing basketball). I enrolled in PE at the highschool...and I did it the whole year. Fun stuff! It really helped the push towards losing all the weight. Every day before we started, we had to run around the track multiple times. That really helped out. So even though I was playing basketball, it still took until PE to begin the weight loss. Let this be a testament that shooting hoops by yourself does NOT burn the fat (at least for me) ! Go find some competition! I also started to eat healthier (and when I say healthier...I mean no more Taco Bells and Pizza Huts...I still didn't eat perfectly). Also, since I was allergic to dairy at the time, I AVOIDED EATING ANY DAIRY PRODUCTS FOR A YEAR. Amazingly, after less than 5 months...I lost 64 pounds. Down to 160. ![]() That's 2003. My junior year. It's a few years later than the last pick, but I basically stayed the same for quite awhile...160...I was a toothpick as you can see. I really started lifting weights, played varsity soccer and basketball, and just really overall started conditioning and improving my body. I'd also like to point out that at the time, I was eating healthily...HARDCORE. Though when I say, healthy, I mean all natural products, and not much of them. So I wasn't quite eating the ABC way. After awhile, I realized my eating habbits had to change. I started with the Body For Life eating suggestions, and gradually worked my way up to a better diet as the months went on...finally leading to ABC. As for weights, I really started out crappily with everything but my biceps. LOL. I don't know, I was just instantly able to be in the zone with them. The muscle-mind connection was really strong. But anyway...all the instense weight training over the years, along with constant challenging basketball finally turned me into what I am today! I'm sure you've all seen my pictures by now...but here are a few new ones...just in case... Hey guys, thanks for the compliments! I forgot to add some stats.
I'm 6-0, 165, with about 9-10 percent body fat at the time those last few were taken. I just started my bulk, which isn't exactly uber clean, so we'll see how it goes. I started the Venom's Horseman workout, so we'll see how that goes. I'd like to weigh 180 pretty soon here, with an ultimate goal of getting back to 200...again. It'll probably take awhile though...as I'll go through month or so long cycles of cutting and bulking.

I have a question wheyman:
in the pics u took, did u go through bulking/cutting stages or did u just maintain weight and lift/eat healthy? It seems that u looked really skinny at one point when u were 165, but ur current 165 is much more muscular. |
