hey everyone.. I have been gone awhile, so most of you probably do not remember me.. anyways I have a few questions
What is the main difference between Cell Tech and Creatine? I kno there is Creatine in Cell Tech, but what is the real advantage or disadvantage to using Cell Tech versus Creatine? Also, I am going to be doing a good amount of running/conditioning in my workouts (lacrosse training), so should I still go on Cell Tech/Creatine and/or Whey Protein with all of this running? Maybe I should wait till we are in more of a heavy lifting session? Thanks in advance for the advice guys. P.S. I think I have found myself again by going back to this website

look at the package and i think you will have your answer.
cell tech is at least 5872% more effective than creatine and is the only reason Jay won the Olympia. haha jk. it has dextrose, ALA, and some other stuff to aid absorption.

You can make your own Cell Tech for a fraction of the wallet-raping price they charge by buying all the ingredients seperately and mixing them yourself.

cell tech is a waste of money, its like a "one size fits all". it isnt a bad product per se, just another overpriced product through muscletech. you can get the Mono-Hydrate foe a few bucks and some malto/dextrose and Bam you have you won cell tech but tuned for you bosy cuz you can use the amount of each wich suits you bodyweight. and the difference between cell tech and cell tech hardcore is they replaced the momo-hydrate with the creatine ethyl ester.

Check out my post here bro - http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/forum...age=0&vc=1 [/ QUOTE ] Wow no one even replied to that? Odd... I tried it years ago...made my throat all scratchy. I think it's interesting though...at the current weight and bf% I am...the PWO calculater here on the site states I need 75 grams of carbs...exactly the amount in cell-tech. So if I did decide to go out and buy it for some reason, I could just divide the serving in half, add 37.5 grams of malto, add the whey...and there's my perfect ratio. Plus then I'd be only getting 5 g of creatine as opposed to 10 (which would be too much). Just thought it was funny how it would perfectly work out for me! But I'm not going to get something that makes my throat scratchy, is over priced, and may not have as many quality grams of creatine as pure creatine monhydrate does like suc stated. Personally...I add kool-aid packets to my PWO shake. Tastes just as great if not better than cell-tech IMO...and it's more optimal.

Thats a great thread from Sucra. Here are some thoughts I had on Cell Tech in a previous post:
---- On the CellTech website it claims: "In one 8-week study that included diet and weight training, previously untrained subjects using CELL-TECH gained an average of over 9 pounds of MASS, while previously untrained subjects using a placebo gained an average of 4 pounds of mass." referencing: Tarnopolsky, M.A., et al. (2001). Med Sci Sports Exerc. 33:2044-2052 However it doesnt state "muscle mass" or "lean body mass" just "mass". Subjects probably gained so much extra mass in the form of fat through the insane amounts of sugar contained in celltech. Also, a more appropriate study would have been to compare the celltech formula to a creatine monohydrate groupd and a placebo group (they only had a placebo group). Further the literature shows creatine is best utilised with a loading period. There is 10g of creatine and 75g of sugar in every celltech serving! so if ytou were to load 5g of creatine 4 times per day you would be consuming an extra 150g of sugar in your diet!
