Is there any benifit in taking a bit of creatine just before a workout and directly after it. This would be without a loading phase and without taking it on off days etc

There has been alot of interest in taking cratine before and after a workout. I don't see anything wrong with it healtwise, but I've never tried it either.

I'm not too worried about it healthwise. I have loaded with creatine before, but it left me needing to visit the urinal far too often. However this caused problems with work.
Just wondering if their is any benifit in only taking creatine before and after a workout, but not at any other time. |

When I used creatine mono I saw better results using it after. The only time I took it before was with the CN Amino Acid shooter. I don't think it was as effective, just my opinion. Try both ways and see what works better for you.

i dont think there is any dif. ive done both. now i just take it in the morning with breakfast. but i am thinking about doubling up and taking a full amount in the morning, and full amount before bed.

well after the loading phase I usually take a bit with my breakfast shake, then I start my workout about 45 mins later and take the rest of the creatine for that day with my PWO.
