Default (Essential?) saturated fats

The only reason why I am posting this is because I read somewhere that our bodies actually need a certain percentage of saturated fats daily PLUS, for some unknown reason, I discovered that, at least for me, chicken fat is a better anti-inflammatory agent than fish oil, flax oil, and probably safflower oil, as well. Maybe it is a satiation thing, but I doubt it.

Granted, nobody will go run out and buy lots of chicken just because it is a better anti-inflammatory agent, but lately I have been kind of intrigued by this phenomenon.
