mens view on girls all done up in the gym
What do you all think about girls that go to the gym in full makeup and dress sexy? is that too distracting for your workout? or do you think it helps your testosterone and make you workout harder? Im curious.Im not at all trying to sound shovanist..just wondering.
I was subjected to a girl lastnight that I was pretty embarrased for her really..she was in full makeup and tiney hotpants. I just felt funny ..like shes representing women and that didnt show much class in my mind. I wear some makeup just to avoid total terror [img]/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] and take a shower LOL but I dont go out of my way to be "all it" when Im at the gym. I mean even if I was single I wouldnt go that far. She was doing SLDL's and ....HELLO [img]/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] thats just not right I looked at the guy next to me with big eyes and he just smiled. ~sky

heh, i find it disctracting.. ifi ts like that right infront of me, im male its in my gene to look, otherwise im too busy checking my self out [img]/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] haha nah, my view on that is i dont really care if they're there to get healthy, if they're there to get perved at they might as well do it somewhere else, its nice to have a distraction at times tho [img]/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I think its pretty pathetic. My wife and I will not soon forget this girl that fits your description perfectly. She took it to the next level, though--she was blatantly flirting with anything that looked like it might possibly be capable of copulating with her (she had not yet approached any inanimate objects, but I though I saw her do a double take with particularly masculine set of dumbbells). When this sublety went unnoticed, she proceeded to walk directly up to the nearest male, and sticking out her hand, she introduced herself (I'm Stephanie! [img]/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]! [img]/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]! [img]/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]) and started chating (ie, giggling at everything he said). When this guy returned to his workout, she moved on to the next non-drooling biped and repeated the routine. I can only imagine her opeining line: "will YOU be my boyfriend?"
Yeah, it wasn't the proudest moment in women's history.

lol there is a fitness obsessed lass at gym... blonde 5ft 9 about size 8 the usual, she only ever wears hot pants and a crop top thing that just covers her chest.... its no problem i figure we are training with no shirt on so why shouldnt the women train how they feel conftable too, plus she is a nice person quiet happy to help or talk about supplementation etc with basically anyone after workout

It just depends to me. I'm impressed by the girls that actually visit the weight section. Most I've talked to are to intimidated.
I get inspired by girls who lift hardcore though. Its pretty awesome!!

[img]/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img] I guess it was the way she was wearing them that wasnt IMO appropriate. I have seen girls in there(more in the machine area) that wear the crop tops and short boy short spandex..but they were "decent" Im talking this gal was more bathing suit type. and the way she was doing the exercises was quite provocative. Like Growth in Motion said..low self esteem...or she really has high self esteem and doest care what other think and is real proud of her body? But I feel confident and not feel the need to express that way..maybe because Im just old and conservative now hahahaha....maybe its an age thing? [img]/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] ~sky

I don't see anything wrong with wearing something like that. I mean I work out in sleevless shirts and tanks. Why not wear what your comfortable in? I think I would be more distracted/annoyed if there was a female wearing skimpy outfits who had no business wearing them in the first place.
