Default HIT v. volume

i just wanted to know what some of you guys had to say.

i've done the 24 workout mass blitz and i didnt get much result. i think its probably because i couldn't handle that kind of intensity but maybe my body just doesnt repond to that type of workout. i'll go till failure in like 8-12 reps and wont feel like i did anything unless i do at least 15 sets on one group. i guess it depends on what youlike but what do you think?

You've done heavy volume and didn't respond to it, try a HIT work out and see if it works for you.

Or maybe try a 5x5 routine and see how it goes.

They all have their place, but I prefer lower volume workouts.

might just be me but i respond best from opposite cycles.
i get best gains if i do a high volume for 6-8 weeks like 10 sets 10-1 reps for 6 exercise per bodypart then go to 3 sets of 8-4 reps supersetted.... this is my current regime

I change rep ranges after 6-10 weeks, but always remain low volume.

different strokes for different folks! I'm currently doing a combination of high-intensity and power in my sets. I do slow negatives to failure for most bodyparts and incorporate power sets (3-4 reps) in exercises for my chest, back, and legs.

Here's a pretty common 5x5: http://www.geocities.com/elitemadcow...Linear_5x5.htm

read around on there, I've not done one, but lots of people like them.
