Default excercise for middle of back?

What would be the best excercise to do when working out the middle of the back? I've done a few different ones but would like to know what you guys prefer to be the best.
Thanks.
Just started going back after a 5 month lay-off. Don't wan to talk about it, but I'm glad to be back.

I personally love T-Bar rows for the middle back.

Middle back is used for close grip pulling movements. So, go for t-bar rows, bent over rows, close grip pulldowns, and especially close supinated grip pulldowns. Hey, even doing high rep sets of shrugs can get your mid back burning.

You could even try doing the flyes that focus on the shoulder. Standing up, you get dumbbells and basically do overhead claps. I remember doing these after about 20 reps you mid back burns like crazy just from stabilizing. Give it a try

I second this one. T-bar rows are great and bent rows work very well too just keep strict form on these.
