please suggest some exercises the work the upper back and minimally the lats.
i was thinking bent over row, my fav back exercise, but does this work the lats extensively? the reason is i would like to do the lats and upper back on seperate consecutive days |

By upper back, I'm assume youre talking about the Traps? Well if that's the case, nothing beats good old barbell shrugs!
Any type of row is going to target the Lats.

I like doing bent over row a little lover than the neck. If you are doing them right, you feel a great shrugging feeling in your upper back.

Although you can go heavier in the version you mentionned, I feel a deeper contraction my way.
