From the 90 degree angle that you just said, when Im going wide, I will do about 1.5 hand widths out from that position.

Normal grip is the 90 degree angle

Narrow, is about 1 to 1.5 hand widths between each hand.

I figure hand width is a good way to describe it because the bigger you are the wider your 'wide grip' stance will be.

Yeah try focusing on your form and drop the weight down.

hi, im 21 and weigh 150lbs
i have a problem with my pecs, they just dont seem to grow as much as i would like?
i do as heavy as possible on the presses and finish off my workout with some flies
could anyone suggent me a good routine tht i can follow to build up my pecs?

maybe do the flyes first as pre-exhaustion. Switch thijnga areound in general.

how long have you been lifting?? I try to keep the new guys in the core lifts. They also tend to get too much weight on the bar for proper form. Lower your weight and work on form, I believe slackie covered that in an earlier post in this thread.
