rest up man. my brother is a marine, and he said that the main thing he wished that he had done before going was rest. as long as you can make it with the weight and what not (so you dont get put in the chub club) then i would take like a week off before shipping out. they'll whip you into shape in no time

which training camp would you go to? san diego or pensacola?

Im in Northern California, so 29 Palms, San Diego. Im not going to go off to boot camp for some time, but i want to enter DEPs a good amount before i go so i know what to expect. I for sure wouldnt do any exercising besides stretching a week before id go to boot camp.

I want to condition for boot camp for 4 or 5 months before shipping to boot.

yeah...from what i understand, lots of running, pushups, situps, swimming, etc, then theres the crucible, more marching and running, and then you graduate. its THAT easy! haha...what do you want to do? infantry, pilot, mechanic???

I was thinking about Intel, and Russian Cryptoloqic Linguist but i heard you need to know the language before hand to get it so that leaves me SOL. But Engineering, Combat Engineering and Infantry sound like fun, even though you are sent to the meanest streets. Also Field Artillery also sounds interesting.

As they say about boot camp, 10% Physical, 90% Mental.

Today, an hour and 10 minutes of super circuit, and a 3 mile run...Wow my lats are dead. Near the end, i could barely do 3 chin ups. These are some crazy doms, i plan to hit the gym 2night.

Did mostly compound exercises for chest/back/shoulders.

Wow, you are some tough to go through with those plus training.

I bet that you are glad that Ortiz won. I kinda feel bad for old Shamrock though.
