Default Death mixtures.

Well okay, it won't exactly cause death, but there are some mixtures of supplements and such that don't go well together if you ingest them at the same time. They won't necessarily hurt your body, but they just don't work together.

I'm trying to find out what these are. I know that taking Ginseng and vitamin C at the same time isn't good, because the Vitamin C interferes with the absorbtion of the Ginseng, thus you should take it at seperate times during the day. If anyone has a list of bad mixtures, or if you know of any more, please post them here. I'd really like to know.

The first one that springs to mind is calcium and ZMA.

Its is actually a true death mixture. Taking calcium at the same time as ZMA will kill you.

Serously...

Calcium interferes with Zinc absorption. You could take a calcium supplement with magnesium but should not with a ZMA supplement.

There are a multitude of vitamins, minerals and other subtances that compete with each other or just reduce absorption. There are also many more that aid each other.

Just for example:

Zinc - Copper
Zinc - Calcium
Calcium - caffeine
Calcium - Iron
Calcium - fiber

and vit c and magnesium aid in the absorption of calcium

there are many more good and bad combinations.
