I find reverse barbell curls, reverse preacher curls and reverse barbell wrist curls to be effective

Yeah, I used to not have to train forearms too. Heavy floor and rack deads were more than enough to give me size in the forearms. But unfortunately I cant do those great excercises any more due to a back injury...single tear.

But even 20 rep deads, chins, rows etc did not give me the endurance required for riding motocross. I would still get arm pump.

I feel reverse curls are a must if you want Sergio Oliva or Lee Priest forearms. They also increase the peek of your biceps. I always do them before biceps cause otherwise biceps are too tired to get the best out of them.

I don't like the reverse wrist curls. Actually I don't like any exercise where my radius crosses my ulna, I don't like the compression and stresses going on there.

So, what I'm doing today, is to attatch a straight bar to the high cable pulley, and hold it with my forearms parallel to the floor. And then do the reverse wrist curls. Palms are supinated, and forearms extensors extend pulling the weight.

Does anyone else do this?

I'll let you know how it goes, I've never heard of anyone doing this before.

Farmers walk!!!

I find forearm exercises to be boring. Way more intense to pick up a set of 100's and walk around the gym for 5-10 minutes (take 10 sec breaks when you need them).

Sometimes I make my clients walk stairs with heavy dumbbells for massive forearms...you can't drop the weights when you are on stairs!!!
