Hmm, im up for the challenge bro! The most i can load on my bb is 90kg, but im planing on getting a better non-olympic barbell and some more 10kg plates, cuz they're rated like 130kg. At around about Christmas or so im gonna get an olympic bar with olympic weights, i dont know how much. Maybe like 140kg something like that BTW, can anyone give an indication at how heavy you need to go on squats before you need wraps and other gear?

But back to the challenge, i'm gonna catch you bro! (i dont know when) but i will!

Happy Lifting!

lol well dont lag behing g.i.m i bought olympic weights and had to lower lifts by 15 kg straight away, bar weighs 25kg on its own, wasnt expecting that lol

straps??? i dont use them my theory is they will only be needed if you increase poundages too fast for body to handle.... or if you already have bad knees of course

not usually i prefer quiet high volume so usually 120-130kg i can bench more but with contest coming i cant afford to keep pushing especially when my partner is away

Thats awesome! I wish i could bench 120kg. I will be able to sometime next year though Hopefully i will be able to do 80kg in six weeks. Thats when my bench program finishes. Well i should be able to, if i can't it means i didn't finish. Cuz the final week before i test i have to do 72.5kg for 2 reps for 2 sets. So, if i can do that i have to be able to do atleast 77-78kg. We'll have to see what happens

BTW, what are you going for when you compete?

Happy Lifting!
