Default Weight Gaining Supplements Ratings Anybody?

Hey guys, I've been working out for a couple years now, on and off for the last year, and I currently weigh 175 lbs and around 15% body fat. I'm wishing to bulk up to 200 pounds and have had trouble gaining weight without supplements.

Can anyone here recommend any specific weight gaining supplements that are safe and aren't packed with tonnes of artificial sweetener like aspartame?

E.g. How's GNC's pro performance 1850?

Oh...and i thought i might as well show a pic, feel free to critique! Haven't taken many measurements and I don't have many pics on this comp such as legs..arms are only 15.5 inches... I have a long way to go but want to put on some mass for the next few months.

Best regards!

I honestly don't think right now a weightgainer shake in the traditional sense is going to help you. I don't know how good your current diet it is, but most of the time diets can be improved.

Have you ever thought of hitting a mini cut to lower some bodyfat % and increase your insulin sensitivity? A cut is always a good idea before a massive bulk, that way you know exactly what to work on, and you have the tools to get it done.

gnc pro perfomance, bad hardgainer bad. make ur own protein powder, oats, and peanut butter/flax. far better use of calories. could even toss in a banana or something

Don't classify yourself as a hardgainer until you have tried adjusting your calorie intake. I thought i was a "hardgainer" until i actually started adding up the calories i was eating. I wasnt eating enough to gain any weight period. I have gained 15 lbs in the last 3 months from this sites useful informationLook around on the site and im sure you'll be able to put together a decent meal plan to get you to your goal.

n large 2

it works. And before everybody goes off and says how worthless every supplement is i just want to say that its a lot easier to buy a couple tubs of NLarge2 and have a couple shakes than it is to mix your own weightgainer shakes (which is not a bad idea) or cook yourself 2 extra meals throughout the day (and a lot less messy!) i am just saying its an easy way to add a good amount of calories to your diet.

But Either way, you should not rely on it completely, adjust your diet as well to make sure you are getting all of the nutrients/calories you need to add some mass.
