Normally I have done the classic tri-chest, bi-back type workouts. While I would get a huge pump, I wanted to nail the arms with some heavier weight, something "pre-fatiguing" inhibits you to do.
Thus, I put bis after chest and tris after back and man have my arms responded. I still stay within the 7-12 rep range, but since these muscles have not been pre-fatigued from the back or chest exercises, I am able to put a heavier load on these mucsles. I am sure many of you have already done this, or have an all arms day. But I thought I would support the already recemmended idea to mix it up, break away from your typical split and try different combinations. |

Try doing that and having a separate arm day! The potential for growth is huge!

Hmmm interesting. I just did back 2 hours ago and I was thinking about going to the gym later tonight and doing biceps. Now I wonder if I should do both bi's and tri's or just triceps...
