Default abs questions

i need some opinions. Is it better to break up ab sections in 3 different workouts, like lower-upper-oblique, and hit each section hard individually. Or just hit all 3 every workout 2-3x's per week. I keep my ab training under 20min, is that adequate time enough. I also always use resistance of some kind, it helps my DOMS!!

I don't think you need to break up the ab training for each part of your abs, just make sure you hit every part when you do work them out.

Not only should you make sure you hit each part of you abdominals, but make sure you hit them in every plane of motion in which they work.

your abs flex, extend, twist and isolate... and are only as strong as your lower back and obliquesa. so a program utilixing just crunches only works one of those (not to mention encourages bad posture!). adding planks, russian twists, supermans, etc will not only strength the abs, but the muscles your abs work with 100% of the time.
