what kind've meal should you have after you get done doing cardio? is it the same as lifting weights?

what trillian said would seem to be an ideal meal for post cardio...if its gona be before bed, maybe have a shake or cottage cheese, and get a small portion of carbs from oatmeal and the rest from some dark green fibrous veggies

well based on your goals, and current weight...there is no universal answer to that question...if your bulking, you could get away with having a serving of oatmeal or a medium sweet potato and be fine...if your cutting, consult one of the fat burning diets in the nutrition section for a more accurate answer, my expertise is much greater in terms of bulking because i have a very fast metabolism...hope this helps at least a little bit

It would be beneficial to include some carbs into your post-cardio meal. You need to replenish your glycogen. I don't think it will have a bad impact.
