Default mixed training

Didnt know what to call it, but I was wondering if by mixing up my workout routines if this would help me get past a plateau. Like combining high intensity (taking every set to failure) with super sets, need some feed back, personal exp. thanks guys, GREAT SITE

Yeah, there are many ways of bursting through a plateau, that could be one way in which you could. have a look at the underground shocks in the workouts section on this site!

You wanted personal experience too so... What are your rep schemes like now? One of the ways that has worked for me was to change the reps and rest time I was doing for different excersizes. Also be sure to add in some shocking methods. Maybe you could (using bench press as an example) put enough weight on the bar so that you reach failure at 5 reps then do one more rep (lowering the weight very slowly) and have a spotter help you get it up, then drop some of the weight and get as many more reps as you can, then wait 10 seconds and see if you cant pull out a few more reps. then thats one set, do 4 or 5 of those and youll see the next day .
like jacka said, check out those shocking methods on this site.
