How to stay married for a lifetime.
1. Two times a week, we go to a nice restaurant, have a little beverage, good food and companionship. She goes on Tuesdays, I go on Fridays. 2. We also sleep in separate beds. Hers is in California and mine is in Texas. 3. I take my wife everywhere..... but she keeps finding her way back. 4. I asked my wife where she wanted to go for our anniversary. "Somewhere I haven't been in a long time, she said. So I suggested the kitchen. 5. We always hold hands. If I let go, she shops. 6. She has an electric blender, electric toaster and electric bread maker. She said "There are too many gadgets and no place to sit down!" .. So I bought her an electric chair. 7. My wife told me the car wasn't running well because there was water in the carburetor.I asked where the car was; she told me "In the lake." 8. She got a mud pack and looked great for two days. Then the mud fell off. 9. She ran after the garbage truck, yelling "Am I too late for the garbage?" .... The driver said "No, jump in!" 10. Remember: Marriage is the number one cause of divorce. 11. I married Miss Right. I just didn't know her first name was Always. 12. I haven't spoken to my wife in 18 months.I don't like to interrupt her. 13. The last fight was my fault though. My wife asked "What's on the TV?" I said "Dust!" Red skelton 1913-1997

Maxing out with YOUR warm up [img]/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] But getting stronger. July 1 206 lbs. Oct 1 180 lbs. April 1 170 lbs. Still losing fat even though I don't have much time for working out or cardio, eating healthy makes a huge difference.

- realize that what you put in your wife is what you will get out of her - the grass is not greener on the other side, it is greener when you water it. - If she knows you are willing to lay your life down for her, she will have no problem following, submitting and respecting you. - How will she be convinced you love her if you will not even take the garbage out. - Show her in action, not words, that she is more important than the " guys " - If you are not a loving leader, it is hard for her to follow you. - If you are not responsible, she has to take responsibilty for the family, giving you the status of another child. It is hard for a mother to make love to her son. - Never forget, 90% of marital problems are the man's fault, because he is not doing what he is supposed to. - Always let her know that she is the apple of your eye, the joy of your disire and the treasure of your heart. I have just done a lot of marriage councelling. When men act right, love their wives like Christ loves the church and treat her like she is supposed to be treated....she usually has no problem respecting and following her husband. She just needs to be convinced he isn't going to drive the bus in a ditch.

I still think it goes both ways, give and take on both parts.
