hey everyone, i am 15 years old, play football and run track, and lift 4 times a week. I am a freshman in high school, and have alot going for me, playing varsity football in a 6AAAA region in Atlanta, GA. REcently, my mother has been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I am also very involved in music, i play guitar, piano, and bass. I have been writing alot musically, and the workouts in the gym have changed. When im lifting, i start to think about everything about my mom, and it just gives me so much more strength, and iguess it might be wierd, but it really does get me focused to make that mind muscle connection, and really feel like im doing it for her. I was devastated when i found out,and everything i do now is devoted and d edicated to her, since i dont know if she will make it. I just wanted to let u know about this, and how my life was affected. MY goals are to play football at the University of Notre Dame, and hey, it could happen.

Hey Bra...just set your mind to it and you will make it. As far as your Mom goes, I'm sorry to hear that. Just to let you know a little of my story...To make it short. A Year Ago My Mom was Diagnosed with Lung Cancer. Christmas of 2004 my family spent in the Hospital. It was a lot to go through, so I know how you feel. She had to have one of her lungs removed. Then had to undergo a lot of Chemotherapy. As of NOW she is in Good Health and Cancer Free. Thanks to GOD, Good Doctors and a lot of Prayers. So keep your Faith and current mind set and hopefully everything will turn out okay. GOD BLESS!
