So my first day back i learned from last time to go a little lighter on the first week back so not to make my elbows feel as if they are going to explode. Also so i can get out of bed using my arms. Next week i will hit it heavy. Incline press symth 185lbs-15rps Military press smyth 125lbs-20rps Reverse grip tri bench smyth 125lbs-20rps Front rack chins on symth bar 45lba-20rps Deadlifts smyth 145lbs-9rps+285lbs-12rps

Back feels great and i think i am going to get some hugh gain this time. I love the smyth machine. Lift more, eat more, grow more. I started off a lighter this time for this workout and tonights. Man my arms killed me last time i came off the cruise so i fgure i will go it slow and then jump it up. I can feel the growth already. How your blast going? you trying anything new?

Are you using them as part of "rack deads". I just cant seem to grip my head around doing deadlifts on a smiths due to a restrictive movement.
It's a must to give it a go next cruise see how it feels.

With the restictive movement that the smyth provides it makes it harder to lift. It has made my form great. I can't get as much weight up and it is harder than regular deads. I put them in place of rack deads this blast just to see how much weight i can get up by the end. The symth provides the stability so i should be able to get more than without it but that has not been the case as of yet. I think it is going to make my regular deads a ton better when i switch back. But we will have to see. This is the part i love the most when it comes to training; learning how to use one thing to make another better. If this works it will go like this. When i get maxed on regular deads i will hit the smyth deads on the following blast then i should be able to go back to regular deads on the next blas and blow where i was maxed, out of the water. We will have to see.

Like i stated before i will be hitting the heavy stuff again starting thurs and by the end of next week i will be were i peaked out last blast and see how much more i can lift from there. Preacher curls 90lbs-20rps Reverse curls BB 50lbs-26rps I got carried away should have only done 20rps Seated calf raises 180lbs-12rps Lying leg curls 120lbs-30rps Free Squat 225lbs-8rps/135lbs-20rps Everything feels great, back feels good and i feel i have a ton of power and energy.

Hammer strength press forward 365lbs-14rps Seated military press smyth 185lbs-13rps Tricep close grip bench smyth 135lbs-30rps Close grip pull downs cable 210lbs-18rps T-bar rows SS 2l5bs-12rps Stretching was a killer today, it was like i could never catch my breath after the rows. I prob forgot to breath the entire time. Oh well fix it next time. Pumpon.
