Okay anyone have opinions on what they would consider a good complete supplement plan. I mean, Come On, Think about it. There are SO MANY supplements out there today that are suppose to help your body. Of course we all know the ole original, 1. Multivitamin/Multimineral ...but what else. You can only take so many supplements. I'm basically asking what would you guys recommend for example...there's Creatine, ZMA, Flax Seed oil, Herbs, Vitamine C, Glutamine, Amino Acid Liquid or Caps., etc...The list just goes on and on. So of all the supplements out there besides Multivitamine/multimineral and Protein, what do you guys think would be the best combination during the corse of each day to keep your body moving forward in the world of Bodybuilding.

your basic ones
multi-vitamin whey creatine fish/flax oil dextrose\maltodextrin but if you want to try something new free-form essential amino acids (i.e amino shooter) bcaa(branch chain amino acids (i.e xtend, ice) hmb zma green tea citrulline malate i like essential amino acids to help with recovery and increase protein synthesis. hmb helps with preserving muscle and also recovery. citrulline malate for increased endurance. green tea good antioxidant and helps with fat loss. zma helps with sleep.

Only the supplements that are researched and deemed safe are supported on this site and sold in the store.
Whey, glutamine, creatine, some mrp's and some weight gainers (do your research with these first), maltodextrin, joint formulas. Besides what is sold here you have zma, hmb, dextrose, multi vits and minerals, efa's and there are others. You shoudl research all supps before deciding to take any. Also research when you should be taking them. Maltodextrin for example is only useful post workout. So I think you should read the nutrition section and making sure your diet is on the ball before considering supplementation. Without a proper diet supps will get you nowhere.

I think an essential stack would be..
- Top definately has to be protein powder! - 1 or 2 good quality multi-vitamins per day - 2g+ of vitamin C - 500mg of calcium (you probably get enough from your protein powder through) - Fish oil - Flax (if you consider that a supplement) Besides that if you have a little extra then ZMA and creatine. |
