Default Gaining height??

Well I am not sure this is a valid question. I heard a LOT of people saying that doing Chin-Ups will make you taller. I am not sure it does, but my questions is, Are there any practical ways to gain height??? I know that bodybuilding itself does, and squats especially because it releases GH, but are there anyother ways.

Do a google search on "Teeter hang ups" this devise allows you to hang upside down, and even do upside down exercises. My mother and her boyfriend use one every day for back and joint pain. Manufacturer also claims a height increase for some people, and hair can grow in thicker. Just a thought.

You can't increase your height. You genes determine that.

[/ QUOTE ] yeah, thats a big factor but if you weigh a ****load than you will be like a cm. shorter than you would be if you were really skinny bcause the spine is being compressed ...i think thats how it goes, becsue the astronaughts(sp?) get a few inches taller when in space becuase they weigh less prolly wrong but read it somewhere i think...

So, if I wear Levi's, does that make me taller or shorter than if I wear Arizona Genes?

Shorter, I think Levi's are heavier, and will compress you more.

You are a bit shorter in the morning due to dehydration. Your IVDs are not as "full" so your spinal column has shrunk a bit.

It's not enough to really notice, but still a bit.

I actually thought we are a little taller in the am due to laying down all night, your spine uncompresses slightly. I also happened to notice that my rear view mirror seems a little lower in the morning.

One thing I notice in the morning is:

I am taller.
Thinner around the abs.
The mild hump on my nose is alot less humpy then it was before I went to bed.

Ha, sounds kind of wierd but Its just what I find.

All of these methods are either temporary, or insignificant.

Only mega-doses of GH will make you taller, with lots of side effects too if you are not in an active growth phase.

You are right, I had it backwards. Your IVDs imbibe fluid while sleeping more easily because of the less compression.
