Celltech is basically creatine mixed with dextrose, glutamine, some amino acids and other ingredients...it is not even worth buying so why would you want to make it on your own? It goes against everything preached on this site. Stick to pure creatine in monohydrate form.
[ QUOTE ] what is so great about cell tech [/ QUOTE ] Their advertising...absolutely nothing about the product is worth buying.

CELL-Tech really isn't "bad", just flawed. One, it is ridiculously priced. Two, 10g of creatine isn't necessary in one shot in my opinion. Three, neither is 75g of carbs. Four, the ALA in it is most likely "dead". And lastly, the newer version has a few forms of creatine, rather than the time proven and tested monohydrate.
It is one of those products that is better than nothing for sure, but not optimal. The articles and research found here provide you with much better methods that are also a lot more economical. |

[/ QUOTE ] Better than nothing? So when you have to load with creatine and take about 25 grams a day, how many grams of Dextrose will you also be ingesting if you use Celltech to load your creatine? Spiking your insulin other than post workout and that many times a day will only lead to problems. No thanks, I would rather use nothing. The product as a whole is total garbage. It's components can be useful on their own.

^^Exactly!! In other words, there is no way that I would consume Cell Tech if given to me for free.
- Load creatine + 75g of sugar in the morning = Bad - Fructose post workout = bad - 10 grams at a time = not optimal - A product that is not formulated for an individuals specific needs = bad - MuscleTech = bad |

I meant it is better than nothing post-workout. Not optimal, but a lot bettert than nothing. However if someone can afford CELL-Tech they can most definitely afford to buy the ingredients to follow the Window of Opportunity article.

actually if you do the research on monohydrate you'll find that the new creatine ethyl ester is better than monohydrate and doesn't make you bloated like monohydrate.

You mean advertising? Ethyl Ester is fairly new and the research is lacking while Creatine Monohydrate has plenty of studies to back it up. Just read the creatine article here with hundreds of referenced studies: http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/Creat...a-analysis.php This has also been discussed before so you can do a search.
