I was told that during an optimal bulk, I could expect to gain about one pound per week. How much of this is lean body mass, water and fat? Thanks!

It's really impossible to say!
But some anal people, like myself, try to guess. It's generally advised that you make sure to gain more muscle than fat on a bulk. If you do a filthy bulk (hohos, pizza, whole milk, etc.), expect to gain 60-95% fat, up to 10% water, and up to 30% muscle. If you do a "normal" bulk (tons of oats, protein powder, meats and veggies, and a little natty PB to get your cals up), you should gain 50-60% muscle, up to 40% fat, and up to 10% water. If you do a "clean" bulk (no pizza, no overly processed foods, and probably no PB), expect to gain 60-80% muscle, up to 40% fat, and up to 10% water. Keep in mind that these are only guesses. It depends on your diet, your exercise, and how your body responds (probably effected by genetics). Also remember that beginners will have a be able to gain more a faster muscle than experienced bodybuilders. My advise would be not to think to hard about the question you asked. Buy a scale and some calipers and see what happens!
