I have been taking my zma about 45 minutes before my pre sleep meal but i was wondering since i drink alot of water and usually wake up about two hours into my sleep if I could just take it then.

Not sure if that would be optimal but to help avoid waking up, try not to drink too much water 1.5 to 2 hours before going to sleep. By the time its going to be bed time I've already drank at least 150 oz. of water.

I used to always wake up in the middle of the night. Now what I do is take my ZMA, wait 30 mins and drink my casein and flax with veggies. After I eat my presleep meal I wait for about 10-15 and go to the bathroom. I can usually sleep through the night now but occasionally wake up after 5-6 hours sleep to use the restroom.

About two hours of your sleep u would be going into all stages of sleep including the REM. so i think it is better to take it before u sleep.
