Default Abstract thought about PWO carbohydrates

i have been pondering this thought for a while...

whenever you consume PWO carbohydrates from Dextrose and Maltodextrin, you are refueling the liver glycogen reserves and the muscle glycogen, (am i correct in saying this?).

now if the above statement is true, then should the PWO carbohydrates be counted in the % daily intake of carbohydrates?

to further explain my point:

40% protein
40% carbohydrates
20% fats

say you take in 3000 calories...

that is 1200 calories from each protein and carbohydrates and 600 from fats...

that is 300 carbohydrates...

now, when you consume 100 carbohydrates from your PWO shake that just leaves 200 carbohydrates for the rest of the day, and if you consume another 40-50 carbohydrates for your PWO meal then that is only 250...

and if you workout twice a day then that is all your carbs for the day...no pre-workout and no other meals should include carbohydrates.

am i being understood here?

i guess my question is...since the carbohydrates consumed in your PWO shake is just replenishing glycogen stores in your liver and your muscles, should it be "counted" towards you daily carbohydrate intake?

[ QUOTE ]
You may even decrease the ammount of total carbs you are getting in your post workout shake if you just have one workout a day (cut it from 100g to 80g for example) because during a cut (if you are doing it right) you should have an increased insulin sensitivity.

[/ QUOTE ]
Oh, so cutting the carbs by 50% on a cut isn't a rule then? How do you go about deciding whether to cut by 50%, 20% or some other amount?

ok... now say that you are carb cycling...

one day you are only allowed 100 carbohydrates for that day

you have one workout with a PWO shake... that leaves a VERY minimal amount of carbohydrates throughout the day.

i guess what im asking is the PWO carbohydrate amount a set amount everyt time? you said to decrease it by 20% in the 2nd workout, but if you do that and you only allow 100 carbohydrates then that is above the amount of carbohydrates for the day just in your PWO shakes...
