WOW! i adopted the Rioting Bombing principle...and applied it to my chest/back by utilizing the bench press and medium-width pulldowns. i started benching with 135lbs.(it was my first time benching in 3 months!...rugby accident...) and 120 for pulldowns(back is not FUlly healed. much much MUCH better, but not fully healed. funny, my back was so much stronger, proportionally, to the rest of my body.) well anyway, let's just say that i have NEVER felt such a ridiculous SURGE of blood RUSH to my chest/back. by the 17th set, i could not do more than 5 reps with JUST the bar(45 lbs.), and 50lbs for pulldowns. this was FOUR days ago, and i am STILL slightly sore!
AMAZING! (yes, i am properly supplementing) |

Awesome. That is cool that your back is feeling strong after coming off of your injury. Great job!

Yea it is pretty brutal. I did it once with wide grip bench and pull downs and it was terrible lol. I was so sore I couldn't throw a decent fastball for 5 days!

I did a riot bomb today for arms. The pump in my arms was incredible! I can already feel the soreness setting in, and can't wait to see how my guns are feeling tomorrow!

How many sets did you do? Did you follow the protocol to a T? I'm wondering b/c sometimes I do a few sets of opposing muscle supersets but I don't get all that sore.

My riot bomb today I didn't do pyramiding reps. Instead just went to failure which was between 6-12, and each time I had not completed 10 reps, I dropped the weight and went to failure again. Also I did 3 different exercises, one for biceps, two for triceps. I did make sure to only rest 30-35 seconds in between sets. I did notice some people staring at me, I think they haven't seen such intensity before. I really enjoyed pushing myself for the 20 sets, and was glad to have a buddy there to help me with a 10 second negative BB curl at the end.

I have tried Joes method of modifying riot bombing so you work in sets rather than reps.

Yea, what is that supposed to mean? Your sentence doesn't sound coherent.
