Workout today:
Quads + Abs Leg Press (5) 270/12; 590/8; 540/10; 500/10; 500/10 10 calf raises w/same weight after each set Leg Extensions (4) 130/8; 105/10; 90/10; 90/8 last 3 sets, hold for 2 seconds Hack Squat Machine (2) 370/10; 200/15 burn, baby, burn! Abs - 15 minutes; mostly weighted exercises 20 minutes Arc Trainer What a *fantastic* workout...my training partner and I have been having ridiculous workouts lately - which is great! Really kicked it hard today - by the end, my entire body was shaking, and this afternoon, I would have loved a nap (unfortunately, that didn't happen [img]/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]). Anyways - things are going great - I have successfully avoided my peanut butter urges this week, and eating exactly every 3 hours. I have to say - lately, I've been getting some funny looks from people in the gym...I guess because I'm a little girl pushing a lot of weight! It's just kind of umm...funny [img]/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] [img]/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] Workout for today: CARDIO 4 x 10 back extensions 4 sets hanging leg raises. 2 alternating obliques; 2 straight legs, holding for 2 seconds. Like my abs weren't sore enough already!! [img]/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] 35 min run (6.5 mph) 10 min walk (3.2 mph; 15.0 incline) Another great workout today - even if it was just cardio. Felt great running - even after a killer quad workout yesterday! My recovery time lately has been extremely quick, without taking any supplements. Pretty cool. Though, my abs are pretty sore today, which I'm psyched about. I REALLY have to focus on my breathing during abs, or I feel absolutely nothing. Every ounce of air has to be out of me, and I really have to hold and squeeze. I haven't even been counting reps lately - which has been really good for me - forces me to think about how my abs really feel, instead of just shooting for a number. Already excited for back and bis tomorrow...AND, my peanut butter craving is officially gone. There are 2 jars sitting in my fridge right now, and I don't even look at them with sad eyes anymore. I guess it is true - takes 48 hours to break a (peanut butter scooping) habit! [img]/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
