Whew. It's been a while. Some of you may remember me, many of you probably have no idea who I am! But in any case! Time to start up another journal [img]/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
Competing in two shows this fall - September 24, and October 22...my first ones! Couldn't be more excited, and I'm so ready to get my game face on cranking out the cardio, and following my diet to a T. Training with one of my good friends from the gym, who has competed in lots of shows in the past few years. For the past month, I have been focusing on bulking up a little bit - nothing too too crazy, but I've had some great results adding 300-400 calories per day. And lifting heavier than I ever have before, which has been AWESOME. Dieting starts the 20th! Current Split: M: Chest + Tris; 20-30 min cardio T: Quads, Calves + Abs; 20-30 min cardio W: Cardio day; 45 min Th: Back + Bis; 20-30 min cardio F: Shoulders + Hamstrings; 20-30 min cardio Weekends OFF Diet is clean; around 1800 calories/day. Lots of lean protein (chicken, fish, lean read meat, egg whites, etc etc), good carbs (sweet potatoes, lots of oats; green veggies, etc), good fats (flax oil, natty pb, an egg yolk here and there). Stats as of today: Height: 5'3 (nope, no more growing for me!) Weight: 140 [img]/forum/images/graemlins/ooo.gif[/img] solid solid solid.... BF: (I'll know next week) Pictures will be coming every 2 weeks!

Workout for today: Back + Bis (sets) weight/reps *weight does not take into account weight machine adds* Incline T Bar Row (4) 45/12; 135/6; 115/6; 90/8 Iso-Lateral High Row (3) 90/8; 65/10; 65/10 (weight on each side) Pull Ups (2) 6 (unassisted); 10 (50 lbs assistance) Preacher Curl (4) 50/10; 80/6; 70/6; 60/6 Incline DB Curls (2) 25/6; 20/8 BB Curls (1) 55/8 20 minutes running, 6.5 mph *GREAT* workout today...felt awesome, especially doing back. My training partner tends to go for A LOT of cardio - and I'm kind of freaked out about losing a ton of muscle. He prepared of my friends for a competition that took place about a month ago, and she could have been much much harder and fuller (but getting lean was more of an issue for her.).
