I was wondering, what exercise would I do to get muscle on my hip( if possable), you know the sides? I try squats but that just adds to my arse. My hip looks like a square and I want it rounded, I could gain weight but it doesn't go to that part of my body sadly [img]/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] , could someone please help me... thankyou.

If you mean the area over the Greater Trochanter of the Femur, there is no muscle there. The lateral offset from the head of the Femur to the Greater Trochanter is entirely determined by bone structure. The main muscles to work with are the Vastus Externus on the outside of the leg between the Greater Trochanter and the knee, and the Gluteus Maximus and Gluteus Medius between the Greater Trochanter and the Crest of ilium at the top of the Pelvis.

Well I had a look at those exercises and it says this.....
Quote "This exercise targets the outer quad sweep, which is responsible for making a bodybuilders waist look smaller and just plain looks freaky!" so am I reading this wrong or is it ACTUALLY going to make my waste small and FREAKY? |

I disagree Joe, I'm not sure about the truth in whether Latina women have naturally wider waists or not, but the truth is that certain ethnic groups to have emphasized physical traits. African-Americans have slightly wider noses for example. Singling out an ethnic group does not immediately make a person racist.
