It's been 8 1/2 months since my wife gave birth to our first, a boy. She is now ready to start weight lost for the summer.
Quick facts: 26yrs 120lbs 5'6" LBM ? Very Active Metabolism Her goal: Loss fat, build LBM, and Cut up She's not into bodybuilding, but knows the importance of all that goes into BB, like Cardio, Diet, and Weight Training. Do any of you ladies understand where she's coming from? Can you please help with guidance in regards to a Diet, Cario and Weight training programs? It's pretty difficult for me to have her follow me with the 24 Mass building. Thanks, Mike |

I am a mother too and can relate to the changes that motherhood bring on a woman, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. It is an incredible experience! Based on her numbers and the BMR Calc, her maintanence cals is: 2040 to 2295 cals a day. Is she nursing? This is important to know! You want proper nutrition at all times. I will get back to you as fast as I am back at the office. For now, check the 13 week hardcore fat burning diet and workout plan. Also, need to determine her bf% for the calculation of her PWO shake. She's no longer breast feeding. That's another reason for her wanting to start a diat. I'll try to work the 13wk program for her and she'll get her BF% Tuesday. Thanks again. Mike |

Hi, I am new here and do not know a lot of these terms. Whats the 13 weeks diet? And how do you calculate these various things?

First, assess your maintenance cals.

I'm 5'9" and 135 lb small body frame and moderately active
I have no idea what my body fat percentage is, sorry. is there anything else? thanks for the site...
