I posted the other day in the training forum that I had completed a new PB in the clean and jerk. Well I thought I'd post the video. the first link is the video cropped in .avi format (small file size - 3mb).
http://rapidshare.de/files/1811463/1...MOV-1.avi.html this is the full length clip in .mov format (much bigger file size - 9mb). http://rapidshare.de/files/1811499/1...7.5kg.MOV.html Thought there may be interest in seeing the clip. feedback is always appreciated.

Sorry about the long download time!!! Although its my max right now, 87.5 in the clean and Jerk isnt that impressive. One of the guys I train with, is about 5kg heavier than me but has put up 120kg in training and 115kg in competition. I've a ways to go yet!!

i understand the goal of if you want to hit that weight, aim above it, but when he makes it to 120, why doesnt he go to the comp and do 120?
you can tell i dont lift competitively.

Due to injury he hasnt competed in a while, also in Ireland weightlifting is a real minority sport so theres not many competitions each year. He C+J'd 115 in competition, a PB for him at the time. then had a couple of weeks off before heading to a training camp in Eastern europe for 4 weeks of intensive training. It was there that he did 120kg. on returning to ireland he suffered injury and thusly never got the opportunity to carry the training 120kg into competition. See?
