Hi folks! Recently my cardio level has dropped. It's become a huge problem for me because I can't seem to run for very long, or even get my energy back to push further. Now in no way am I a jelly bean sitting around. I'm a full-time roofer, and I play foot Hockey at least 3X a week. I love the game of Hockey but when I'm running I can't keep up with everyone. My throat starts to hurt, my body feels like it's lost so much energy even though I've only played for about 10mins. I sweat so much, it's unbelieveable yet I don't see myself loosing much weight. I try to eat right, but once in a while I'll have 2% milk, and fried food once (max 2X) a week. I drink about 3 glasses of water a day, yeah I know i should be drinking at least 6-8 but haven't been doing so (d'oh!). Anyways, I was wondering if you guys could help me this?

Try posting your diet in the nutrition forum. Ditch the milk and fried foods. They will kill your cut. AND DRINK MORE WATER! When you drop the weight cardio becomes easier and easier.

Whats the diet like as a whole? If there tends to be problems with energy/performance etc its usually diet related.

I haven't been dieting much, and yes loosing the weight would help me out.
7AM: Corn pops or fruit loops with 1% milk 9AM: Cup of tea mixed with 2% milk 11AM: Glass of water 12:30PM: An Indian meal like this (excluding the lemon drink) http://food.sify.com/recipe.php?id=13270062&cid= Topped off with a glass of water, and half hour later a cup of tea. 3PM: Apple or Orange with a glass of water 6PM: Glass of water of if i'm super-super tired a glass of Whey 100% Protein (vanilla flavored, mmmm) 7PM: a cookie or some sort of snack 8PM: Dinner (pretty much another Indian dish, but not what i had for lunch but pretty much on the same line) 10PM: Glass of 1% Milk That's it folks. Note: Somedays the Indian-dishes could be heavy (as in Currey chicken etc) and other days super-super healthy. But I do my best to not eat as much curry chicken or anything that i know is not good for me.

Alright mate I'm Asian n I know how unhealthy it can be. I would stay away from the obvious stuff like oily curries (bleugh) and keep to nicer, healthier stuff like rice n lentils.

[/ QUOTE ] cool-cool. I was told eating rice isn't a good thing because it makes your stomach stick out more.
