I have seen a lot of people say they use dextrose and maldextrose for their simple carb intake. Usually i have around 100 grams of simple carbs. Typically it goes like this
13 grams from milk with shake 1 20 oz. Gatorade(about 36 grams) 3 rice cakes(10 grams each) w/ 2 Tbsp of jam(20 grams) You think this is good for PWO? |

Thanks for the help i found a good brand. For now what kind of simple carbs can i consume if i don't have access to dextrose and Maltodextrin? And pre-workout should i consume simple carbs or complex? i am currently on a cutting phase

Thanks a lot for the help joe. One last question, dextrose is a sweetener and i looks like i have to use a lot of it to get 50 grams of it in my PWO shake, does this make the shake taste like crap and too sweet? or does the other 50 split of maltodextrin help?
