Ok, at least once a week I like to do a total calistetic workout. Like, somwhere around 50 Pull ups, 50 Chin ups, 200 Push ups, 200 Sit ups, sometimes some kind of jogging, and a few other obscure bodyweight exercises that are pointless to this post. I was just wondering if the same PWO nutrition rules for lifting apply to the calistetics?

I have a similar question, but its about aerobic workouts.
All the PWO shake stuff i have read so far is talking about after anaerobic workouts. so what is best to take after an aerobic workout such as running or jogging?

Red,
After pullups, pushups, and situps I would take a normal PWO shake. I personally think you would find better results in doing a full fledged workout with weights and cardio instead of just pullups, pushups and situps..But hey it's up to you. After jogging do not take a PWO shake. Conky, you can post this on your own, you don't need to hijack another thread. Post Cardio: (Old School) [ QUOTE ] Post cardio- A well balanced meal with a low GI carb and lean protein source protein. [/ QUOTE ] About an hour after your cardio session.

thanks lostsheep, I know that there's better results from weights. But I'm planning on going to the millitary and I want to do very well and go on to special forces. That is why I concentrate on trying to do a lot of those calistetic exercises.
