Default close grip bench

I did these for my triceps today and really felt them a huge amount in my delts and traps for some reason. There is obviously a problem with my form but am not sure what. i have looked it up on the excercise tab, but am still unclear. I think the problem may lie in my elbows, i am not sure if i am meant to keep them by me sides or outwards as i lower the weight.. or it could be something else.. anyone have any comments?

Definetely. Even on a standard flat bench your elbows should not extend beyond 45 degrees from your body. You could put undue stress on your rotator cuffs.

you must have a very narrow grip, to feel the triceps working their way to hypertropthy bliss.
