I have never done a strict cardio, nor legs program in my life. It is a shame to admit it, but I do not work legs. I only do all upperbody, but I started doing legs the first time last friday and they are still killing me.
My question is that can someone provide me with a good cardio program for beginners. I do a 3 days split (MWF). Chances are I don't need a really good legs program in order for my legs to grow quickly right? I don't need to shock them since they are already shocked that I am actually working them! Thanks for feedback! |

First question: Are you just doing your cardio in the gym, or can you do cardio any time?

I can prolly do cardio anytime. I haven't started yet tho. I live like....3 minutes away from the gym. They have some treadmills and a track to run around. I would prefer not to do cardio on my workout days.

You should avoid the cardio on your workout days if you can anyways.
Depends on what your goals for cardio are. If you're just interested in cardio for general fitness, I'd say 20 minutes of about as intense cardio as you can, 3 times a week would suffice. Be sure you eat a good post-workout meal with lots of complex carbs afterwards, though. |

Goal? Probably just to get use to the cardio so I can do it hardcore when I start cutting. I am bulking right now, so I will start cutting towards the beginning of summer.

I don't like to do Cardio in the gym. I stay active outside the gym with sports and martial arts. Cardio in the gym just puts me to sleep. Try and find something you like to do is my advice!
