Squats felt good for the most part. My heels stayed glued to the floor on most sets. I did notice on my 460+40lb chain set they did come off the floor because I did not sit back at first.

My pushing muscles did not have it and it was just one of those days inside and outside of working out. So I took it rather easy after an awful bench performance.

I climbed the mental hurdle. 570 was not perfect and I slightly hitched the final inch or 2 which I probably did not need to do because I was there but I was just determined to get it no matter what. I think changing my setup and doing less warmup reps has helped a lot.

I went away for the weekend and ate too much. Despite that I still managed to hit a nice little pr. Training at home leads to some creativity so instead of doing pullups on my pullup bars which suck for the wide grip pullups because they are angled I took my barbell and put it on top of the rack and put weights on both sides of it where my shelves are in my shed. I liked this method better and I will continue to do this because it feels more natural and better on my shoulders.

Squats are looking better every week. I am backing off a little this week instead of deloading because I plan to take a week of next month.

So far so good. My DL is the only lift this wave I am upping my training max.

So I decided to switch to Westside for Skinny *******s to get bigger, stronger, faster and most importantly have more fun.
