Thanks guys.
Deadlifting every week has really helped my dl improve lately. My build favors the deadlift over the squat. (Fairly long arms compared to legs) Plus it is easy to get motivated to pull.

I actually felt tired at the start of this but it got better as I went on. I was suprised how easily I cleaned the axle at 220 today since I have not done the axle in awhile. I guess all the log work helped it along.

1/4/10 Back (deload)
Seated Box jumps- (12 to 25in) 6x2 Db snatch ( 1arm thick db)- 75x3 85x3 95x3 Pullups- 2 chain x 3 x 10 Farmers Shrugs- 230 (115) x 20 270 (135) x 20 290 (155) x 20 Ab wheel- 3 x 12 *5 out of 10. Felt like cr@p today woke up with a sore throat, congested, and lots of sneezing. Hopefully, just a cold and a bad day. Did not do much of anything today. No energy.

I was looking back through my journal here and I noticed I used to do a lot more exercises each workout then I do now. Also, I noticed that I should be a lot stronger than I am now too. Honestly, I think I need to man up and push myself harder. Ever since I started training at home I feel like the intensity has not been good enough. I have made progress but not enough but that is going to change.

I am using this day to focus on exercises that will carry over well for strongman since events outside in below freezing weather is not fun.

Had a total of 6 hours of sleep in the last two days. Decent strength today but endurance was shot.

DL- 145x5 235x5 325x3 400x2 460x1 520x3 (PR!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpXJ6pheKqU Standing band rows- Green x 5 x 20 Swiss ball crunches- 25 25 25 25 *This made no sense. I am still sick and took nyquil which wiped me out and I did not want to wakeup at all. I was about to continue sleeping and by the time I finally woke up I had 30 mins to workout before I had to get ready to go to work. Warmups felt really heavy and I thought I was gonna stop at 460. But then I get to 460 and it flys up like an empty bar. The I continue with my plan to hit 520 for 3 and I do it rather easily but stopped because I was gassed from being congested. Had I been feeling better I woulda went for a new 1rm. Then, I took it easy and deloaded on the assistance.
